this game has so many great terrifying moments but I think the scariest part is when your being chased by that chainsaw guy in the forest while only equipped with a very dim lantern and a stick

This game is so good, and they are planning to do a remake of him. They already showed a gameplay with source engine(now are canceled but they are doing with UE4). I hope if it is launched you play too.

Still one of my favourite horror games to this day. I don’t really play it all that much anymore but it was super fun. Sure it could be clunky at times but for something that started as a free mod for Half Life 1, it’s pretty amazing with how good of an atmosphere it had at times.

For me a horror game with low end graphic quality is more creepy than a horror game who use the modern graphics they're awesome but not creepy and scary like games with the ambience of cry of fear

I remember watching my cousin play Silent Hill 1 and on that night, my mom said I was *sleep walking* . That was the time I had a dream I was playing hide-n-seek with the monsters.
