WSL is very useful. I can compile my Dymola FMU for Linux and Windows from Windows versions of Dymola at the same run. No need to have a fully workable Linux on the virtual machine

Wsl must have access to internal hardware access like wireless module bluetooth module so it's going to very useful

wsl in the video is 1.0 usually for terminal use and wsl 2.0 is more performace use for docker or virtual machine

once could invoke windows executables listed in the path environment variable by adding .exe, for example to view the current directory\folder inside explorer by typing "explorer.exe ." the dot means current directory\folder.
