Ali Abdaal is a creator with 5 million subscribers and over 400 million views. The Ali Abdaal editing style has been taking over Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube shorts. That's why in today's video, I'll be taking you on a step-by-step guide to edit an Ali Abdaal video in Adobe Premiere Pro.

First, we went through and planned out how we will create these viral animations that Ali uses, and masked out our character from the background using Adobe After Effects.
Then we created our cuts and used J-cuts to make the video more fast-paced and engaging for the viewer.
Once we did that, we applied our show-not-tell mentality and created the minimalistic paper tears and animations for our intro, making sure that it was captivating and interesting for the viewer.
We then visualized the rest of our video and made sure to use 3D effects and transform tools to create a high-end animated look for our video!
Then we dove into sound design, and made use of whoosh sound effects, risers, hits, and drones, to create a cool atmosphere and bring all of our minimalistic animations to life!
After that, we added our final touches, created the subtitles that Ali Abdaal uses, and exported our video.
