The professional I went to said that Claire’s hires teenage girls that need a side job and they tell you to turn your earrings and use cotton to clean them but that makes it infected.

As someone who got my ears pierced at the doctors office because I didn’t trust getting it done at a mall I can say I’m so thankful that I did because my piercings are actually even and never got infected

I was so lucky! I got mine pierced somewhere else, mine are: Not infected, even and don't need to be cleaned often. My only problem is I can't use gold because my mum is allergic to it in her ears so I might be aswell.

Everyone’s saying don’t go to Claire’s!!! But why? I went 3 times for all my lobe piercings and all of them were even and didn’t get infected. Idk if that’s bc I had the manager do it all three times but I don’t recommend there for cartilage piercings as they is gun where needles much safer but for lobes yeah go to claires

If your looking to get your ears pierced DONT go to Clair’s. My piercings were done there and they are crooked, get infected all the time and even tho I’ve had them for 5+ years now I can’t go a day without wearing earrings. It’s not worth it, go to a professional. It also hurt like like hell but to be fair I was 6-7. My older sister now wants to get her ears pierced and I keep reminding my parents of all this but I’m pretty sure they are going to take her to that stupid store anyways. On top of me getting infections all the time I also have to get the hypoallergenic earrings and they only last a year at max and then you get an allergic reaction that looks/ feels like an infection. Again, DO. NOT. GO. TO. CLAIRS.
