California Wildfires: The Park Fire is the largest fire in California so far this year, surpassing the Lake Fire in Santa Barbara County. Cal Fire said the fire is at 164,282 acres and 3% contained as of 5:30 a.m. Friday.

I never understood the logic of just staying in your home when emminent disaster or doom is coming. Im not talking about those who are disabled or elderly. Im talking about capable young adults with families. Theres always a group of them, be it wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc., that go buy some supplies and attempt to sit it out.
