I lived in Cohasset, my son still lives in the house he was raised in. The house is gone, everything he owned is gone except his truck and dogs. He is a vet on disability and it is heartbreaking. But there have been fires all over that area over the years, including the Paradise fire. Every couple years one of my kids is forced to evacuate it seems. This is the first time a home was lost though

Hey Feds...time to declare an FEMA emergency.
As horrific as it looks right now and the terrible, heartbreaking losses for the residents...for the forests it's probably a 'good' thing with all the massive ground-cover growth from the drenching winter rains now turned into fertilizer for future healthy forest growth.
