I'm now 46. Lifting since I was about 20. I've had 2 knee surgeries and I have torn my left rotator cuff twice. I have found that I can't go heavy on shoulders or chest, but I've also learned a lot of really good exercises that work for me.

Hey pete! It would be interesting to have a video about muscles imbalances and how to fix them. Great video by the way

Excellent summation. Logical, sensible, and encouraging of experimenting, observation, and being flexible, evolving.

Train hard. Keep it simple. Recover. Progress. Be consistent.

So true Pete. Actualy this is when you decide to embrass the slow long term process that bodybuilding becomes not boring anymore. It becomes this kind of partner you dont want to leave, this part of you you are always happy to join, because no one know better than yourself what it took you to be there. I ll share this video to anyone who asking about what bodybuilding truly is.

The one thing I would like to see addressed is how cell phones have altered the dynamic in training and in gyms. Guys come in and train, do a set for 20 seconds and then spend their "rest period" with eyes glued to their phones for up to 5 minutes. Their concentration and focus is addled, and they do another half-hearted set. And repeat. They also don't get that when they monopolize equipment for 15 minutes, and others may be waiting to use it. These clods are seized by their little screens like a drug, they're not even breaking a sweat. The really serious trainers, me included, don't want to waste time and miss the opportunity for a productive session.

3:00 I don't grow my lateral deltz with less than 12 sets per week, but i grow my biceps enormously with just 4-6 sets per week

Hey peter. I train for some time now and i did numerous stuff and try things to see how it was etc but i just fell in love with old school bodybuilding and big fan of arnold and i train like they did back then. I bought 2 of your programs actually the 5day mass program and the torso and limbs program just to see how you think you should train and you know maybe see things i want impelement myself. Now i always trained to failure and i see in your programs your advice is to keep 1-2reps in reserve now i heard this before but how am i suppose to know that i have 1-2reps in reserve

Great video! What would you recommend in regards of training to failure on movements like Pull-ups, Dips, OHP, which are compounds but relatively safe to train to failure. Should you push to failure or stick to 1-2 rir?

Never seen someone do commando pull ups with a vbar to make it a symmetrical grip.

When I exercise my arms, or even break many sticks outside, I often end up with tension in my shoulders, and left neck, which leads to sometimes pretty bad headaches and left or right neck tension. Do you know if this is a weak traps/back issue? Pinched nerve? I did once hyper extend my left arm. Some have suggested I need to exercise my shoulders and back.

1 heavy set, 1 lighter set to failure per exercise reverse pyramid training 🔥
