You have been granted permission! Haha funny! I can't wait to see the walk - in,
Also, I love my temporary covers.  Last year, it enabled me to enjoy fresh kale for my southern meal of greens and peas, our traditional New Year meal in the south.

Congrats on finally getting permission for the walk-in hoop house!!!   I know how it goes, brother.  It takes time to build a great garden...it takes even longer to get the wife to let you do it!!!   Have a great winter!

This my first year gardening and it's become my obsession. I just started reading Four Season Harvest by Eliot Coleman. I'm being restrained and will build a hoop house next year.

I built a large walk in hoop house about 2 years ago.  My plan was to keep out bugs to grow pumpkins in, but the hoop house got too hot, even with the thinnest layer of agribon/remay.  This video link show you what the frame looked like.  Other videos from 2012 shows it with the agribon.  Each piece of the arch is 5 foot lengths of pvc.  Pittman's Pumpkin Patch 2012 Part 1

OneYardRevolution  Good timing with the big storm coming down.  Looking at 15-24" with over an inch per hour in Northwoods.   And I'm heading into it.   One of our local farms just put in his posts and is building his greenhouse.  Good luck, they're nice to have.
