I discovered this movie only recently and was taken by the innocence of love portrayed. Though idyllic, there is something truly beautiful in the raw nature of the budding love of the film. It made me think to myself, how much do people steal from themselves in love by our truly selfish headlong rush to experience as much as we can physically as fast as we can? How much deeper of a bond do we form if we actually 'discover' certain stages of intimacy with the person we share our life with? Something that I wish more people would consider.

I just thought of an idea that with advancing technology, could be accomplished fairly soon if not now: I would love to see some sort of maybe short film created (utilizing of course partly AI technology) where Tom Hanks's character from his AMAZING film "Cast Away" meets up with the characters from the Blue Lagoon and all 4 of them (Tom's character, Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins and Wilson) have an interesting conversation about the philosophy of life or something. It could be both very humorous but maybe if it's done correctly, could be inspirational and actually touching.

Maybe all the characters could speak about which each had learned (in the universe of these films).
