The pricing is high because the demand is off the charts. I’m more amazed at how many rooms are already sold out on this new ship within 24 hours. This is crazy

They are new & loads of things to do on them, you don’t need to ever leave the ship even with kids.
It’s seems high but remember everything has raised & if you do a 7 day vacation at Universal or Disney the resort is that much, no food, no entertainment, no park tickets so in that since it’s not really extremely expensive.
We sail the Oasis class & love them we get a balcony cabin. We also love Universal and stay at Portofino Bay, we get the 4 day park to park & of course we eat & buy things. The Universal trip is much more expensive so cruising is still a good bargain considering everything.

You can also call to have your cruise repriced if the cost go down after you book.

Im on Icon. Paid about $1400pp for a Balcony. I hvnt booked on Star yet as theres not enough info out about it in relation to differences from Icon and the ports are repetitive. Ive been to all these places already. Ill wait it out or book for 2025 on another cruise line with different ports I hvnt experienced yet.

As long as people keep paying these ridiculous prices, they will stay this way! I will not!

Amazing prices but whilst people buy them then why are the going to reduce them. The company are billions in debt after Covid so will argue they need every dollar. They often compare hotel prices, which are close to $200 a night, that does not include food or entertainment. So will not be coming down anytime soon
