Oakboard Mini 2 Unboxing and Initial Thoughts

What's new and different with the Oakboard Mini 2 from the Oakboard Mini 1? Is it still a great solution for Playback Engineers looking for a simple to use, well built MIDI Controller?

Pretty bummed to lose functionality of my controller today! They sent me link to a download for a software to boot the new firmware, and I was unable to get it to recognize the device after holding down the stop button while connecting to the computer as recommended. I’m in an M1 Mac. I tried different cables, USB ports on my computer, tried a different laptop, holding down different buttons while connecting to the computer, nothing. Pretty sure they are offering me a refund or exchange, but I’d much rather get it working (or I don’t know about the viability of another controller from Oaktone). I’m not sure if other people are facing this issue. Wanted to let you know

Hey sorry, a bit off topic but when I format my ableton session with the new song and create to group and set up for sends only. When I go create my live session setlist and dump the song I formatted, I have to apply the sends “A-B-C so on and so forth” all over again. How come this is happening? Iove your content btw, it has really helped me!

Why is it you don’t recommend Live 12 for live performance? 5:36
