For me, if this is not a victory for iqoo 12, then it is a very worthy result. a large number of photos taken on xiaomi 14 have blur in some places where the focus is placed (6:58 - the tree below turned out much clearer on iqoo). 6:47 - Xiaomi has almost no visible building in the background (“light hunter”?), although I like the color of the tiles better.
my opinion is that iqoo takes more interesting photos and has an incredible zoom, while xiaomi has better quality video, including at night

For zooming iqoo bitter lens periscope but Xiaomi have win the main camera battle because main camera is accurate colors and details so i chose Xiaomi 14 pro and Xiaomi 14 pro also beat the pixel 8 pro in main camera

Photos are about on par for the main camera but prefer IQOOs human subject pictures. They look a bit more natural to me. Xiaomi's 4K60fps video stabilization is a bit better during the day but not a big difference at night. Ultra steady mode better on Iqoo. Selfie cam much better on Xiaomi. Telephoto much better on IQOO. Iqoo has improved their cameras quite a lot this time. I think they needed to though given the price category they are in

From this video I have a different opinion than the comments before me.
Xiaomi looks struggling with its jitter on its video. Especially on the night video, Iqoo has a better stabilization
The mic quality is also poorer with the worse noise reduction like the usual xiaomi phone did. Iqoo mic quality is better than 14 pro
Periscope photo hands down iqoo 12 better, and night photo like usual bbk phone is better in Iqoo 12.
However the white balance and color reproduction, esp on the daily situation is better in xiaomi.
The face detail on the human object is better on xiaomi as well, although the background separation in portrait mode seems better in iqoo 12.

The xiaomi has a haze on the photos and is darker, it also doesn't have good focus. I prefer the iqoo in photography. 👍

I'm never gonna fall for iqoo, seeing videos and everything i bought iqoo 9 pro . It was good for 3 months and after that the software started to show its true colours, even hdr fails 8/10 times video lags so much in 4k, the phone overheats so much. Then later i exchanged it and bought the iqoo 11 seeing how reviewers where praising it, again the same shit happened, worst software experience. Poorly optimized cameras, when it hits it hits good but 7/10 times its garbage. Im never buying iqoo ever again

I was thinking that maybe because the iQoo have better optical zoom, and the Xiaomi have less....
checked the specs of both phone and find out that both phone have 3x optical zoom.
Now I'm really surprised that the 50x in Xiaomi were bad

sadly vivo x100 pro is not released in my country, there is only iqoo12 and xiaomi 14 basic version

$400 with 512gb is decent
