E3 2013 - PS4 Design Finally Revealed!

So here's what it looks like, at last... I look forward the intellectual debates that will rage on in the comments regarding the design of the PS4...

However, Multiplayer now requires a PS+ subscription, but most people have one anyways and it has a ton of advantages like free games, discounts, storage for your save games, automatic updates, game installs etc.

Everything else is still accessible to Single Player games to the apps on the console.

If only it had a built in TV screen. With the design the way it is it looks like it could flip open. A built in TV screen was the main thing I was hoping for from the next gen consoles.

Looks nice it seems both Microsoft and Sony went with a similar look, i like the fact that PS4 is smaller. Awesome day today loved the conference bring the gamess!

First off, they really do look the same except ps4 has a slant. They both look like boxes.

Second off, does it matter what they look like? Its not like youll be staring at the console while you play. Youll be staring at your tv screen. If u don't like the design, don't look at it.

Who cares how it looks, it'll be dusting anyway underneath you're television. You're not staring at it while playing a game. All that matters is how well it runs :P

Of course. Do you think just because we got PS3 now we should go and sell our beloved PS2? Loads of people share many memories with PS2... GTA San Andreas, NFS Underground, WWE Here Comes The Pain, MGS2 Sons of Liberty... giving up your past is the worst thing to do - especially on the best selling console of all time, PlayStation 2.

360 sold a lot more copies than PS3 in the American market despite being an inferior console in every way so IDK how they lost the console war. It's like how GCN is a lot better console than PS2 but PS2 is still the best selling video game console ever.
