You echo my feelings! What a wonderful opportunity we have to not only experience, but to invest in a company with such a dynamic and insightful leader.
Those that are only focused on the stock price need to seriously consider buying something else. Replacing Steve Jobs at Apple is a great example of a board trying and failing to pump the stock.

Great analysis.
The stock market analysts will be very critical if the low cost car isn’t announced, because that is all they understand. It may be mentioned but won’t be presented because of the Osbourne effect.
One thing not mentioned, and potentially a huge part of the market is the compatibility for users with accessibility issues, particularly with wheelchairs…

i am in my early 50s. in high school and my early 20's, i worked at restaurants. frankly, my favorite job was mc'donalds. i loved cooking for the masses. i got out of restaurants but now i want to get back into it. i think i have a good business model, i just didn't want to deal with the labor. in the restaurant business, EVERYONE calls in sick a lot. labor is very not reliable and i ended up working 60 hours a week as a manager. however, if i could buy 4 robots that do the work, i could make it work. but they would have to cook quickly and all day with no breaks except to charge. i can manage that...

thoughts? maybe the first cyber restaurant :)

I hope that they improve autopilot soon its still not always accurate on speed limits and it still doesn't recognise zebra crossings. And still does unnecessarily aggressive braking sometimes. Other small gripe back camera gets dirty too easily so if it was autonomousit may not be able to seea directly behind when reversing. Also sometimes it complains that side pillar cameras are blocked when it's just dark. The car is brilliant but there are still gaps that need working on

I hope Elon would not be so silly to just introduce a new car with no steering wheel to push the autonomous narrative. People are tired of having “FSD ready” by the end of each year.

Given the ‘We Robot’ name, I suspect that there will be very little human involvement in the Robotaxi aspect of the event. I anticipate that one (or more) Optimus robots will act as ‘doorman’ for the passengers, opening the Robotaxi door, etc.

I dont think cybertruck will be a dedicated 'Robotaxi' but i do think it will be used for deliveries. Im thinking parcels/mail.

If we see Optimus, they will be plugging in chargers to the Tesla semi. Not loading Tesla sedans. Optimus needs to be implemented into the factories first. It is way to soon for Optimus to be doing anything else.

A heavier (but much more damage resistant) *CyberCab won't matter very much if the rumoured induction charging is announced. As you point out, availability of individual units won't matter just as appearance won't since no-one will own them. How long a given CC might be charging becomes a moot point, which coupled with the continuous improvement in battery charge density and reduction in costs which Wright's Law continues to demonstrate, it'll only get better / faster.
