i don’t care about ip68, i hate edge screen, i have never used wireless charging, i care about headphone jack so i’m definitely going with p30 considering the price difference

Ughh, why can't they do it like Samsung, I prefer the smaller flat screen p30 but I really want that p30 pro camera hardware with that zoom and OIS minus the TOF camera, though TOF may have certain function but I don't really need that feature for now. I don't mind the wireless charging or that reverse charging too. The p30 would be perfect for me if it has the pro camera. I can live with that ip53 rating too. :(

#androidcentral Pretty decent comparison, but you got the cam spec for the P30 wrong (3:30). It's a 16mp wide angle cam not a 20mp like the P30 pro.

Went to check out both. Got the normal p30. Pro model I could not use with one hand and did not fit into my pocket. These days flagship phones are getting way too big for my liking.

Huawei cut way to much out of the P30. Lots of people actively don't want phablets. Look what Samsung did, there's not much cut out in the S10 compared with S10 Plus. You're not penalised for not wanting a brick of a phone.

I went for the P30. Nicer size, prefer the flat screen, cheaper and the colours put out by the display look much nicer, at least from extensively testing the demo models at work. Although disappointing to have only IP53 rating and no wireless charging capability but I guess I can live with that.

I like to see comparison of night mode photos between p30 and pro versions. I google for seeking details but there’s no any demonstration in this issue. 😔

wish the p30 had a smaller form factor. 6.1 is still large and what you used to be termed a phablet until an year or so ago.

can the regular p30 be run under a tap? i like to wash my phone once in a while, which i can with my current s9.
