I checked both of these models in the shop today and I love the P30 Pro. But I would say P30 is a better deal because it still has the flagship specs in a lower price. You're only going to miss few awesome things from the P30 Pro. But it will still be a wonderful purchase.

If they had just installed an IR blaster also on P30, my money would be on P30 100%. Im not into curved edges and big phones more than 6 inches in screen size. Huawei please put an IR blaster on smaller flagship.

if the pro had a headphone jack it wouldn't be a competition in my opinion since in the US from what I see the price difference right now is about 200-300bucks all the extras it currently have is nice but I can live w/o it but the headphone jack.. I use it quite a lot.

The P30 pro is what it is... A luxury handset with luxury features... The P30 is also a great handset...but directed towards the consumer on a budget
