Long term review Nitto Trail Grappler M/T Tyres

I've had a few people ask me about my tyres lately so I thougth I'd do a quick long term review. I've been running these Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tyres for about 2 years now. With 50,000km on them, they are holding up really well. Compared to the BFG KM2 muddies I've run in the past, I'm getting similar wear from them. In all honesty, they are probably the best mud terrain tyre on the the Australian market and they're priced really well too.

This was my first attempt at making a proper youtube video that wasn't just a shitty home movie, so like and comment if you like it and I'll probably try making some other stuff thats not so monotone.

Thank you very much for your review. It helped me to do my choice when I was looking for proper tyres for my Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 265/75/16 just impressed me by its comfort in compare with BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 wich I used more than 5 years. Really enjoying riding on them.

For us Americans 50, 000 kilometers is approximately 31, 100 miles and that's alot of tread life after 31, 100 miles!

Man I love your Land Cruiser, my dad has one of those back home in Nicaragua. We have the straight 6 Cylinder, we don't get the v8s.

Great video. FYI I have run 315/75 r 16 on 7.5 x 16 stock Ford rims on stock Ford Superior Duty, no rub and my trucks were work trucks in mud, snow, sand woodlands and hauling tools and materials to building site.

Hey mate, great review.
I’m deciding between these and bfgoodrich mud terrains.
Having had both, which would you prefer. I can get the nittos $50 a tyre cheaper than the bfs.
But if the BFs will last longer that could cancel out the price difference.
Thanks mate

I guess when you say 50, 000k's, that is spread over 6 tyres
When a lot of people just rotate 4 tires (because they only bought 4 tyres)
So maybe that wear over distance could be brought back 30% if you only had 4?

Hopefully you see this ASAP haha, can you measure their Diameter loaded? I heard the 285 were ~34 inches or more true size. I am looking at getting either 285/70/17 or 35x12.5r17 . if the 285 is close enough to a 35 when most 35s are undersized anyway I may as well stay legal haha
