Remember when you were young and your papa use to come home all tired, and still smile at you like you are their whole day just got a bit better? I said the same thing to my father when he was in the hospital, counting his bonus days and before he could answer … he was gone and many things went unanswerable …

I miss my father … sacrifices of a father mostly go unrecognised … me and my father were so happy together, he always listened to my stories but never told and shared his …. I just couldn'y hold my tears when he said to put him at ease, many soldiers suffering won't reveal the nightmares and the pain they faced on the battlefield to their family. #DearPapa I lost on you when I was 8 and now I am 22 and got recommended for the post of Assistant Commandant from the Indian Coast Gaurd, I wish You were there physically by my side when I was crying after getting the good news but I know you were there beside all the time not if physically but as a blessing, I am proud to say I have fulfilled your dream of seeing me in the uniform. That's an impossible scenario.. Military children are very responsible & compassionate in nature. Their surroundings help them to be mature before their age. It was good storyline picturized a post-war traumatized soldier's internal war against PTSD ❤️❤️
