General Old Iron The Rift Part 3 Comic Animation

General Old Iron from Avatar the Last Airbender stomping Down
-----
So on the suggestion of avatarvyakara on @DeviantArt I decided to animate another scene from an ATLA comic. This one featuring the spirit General Old Iron from the ATLA comic the Rift Part 3.
Had a fun time working on this one after cutting it out and doing some patch work. I rebuilt the scene in C4D projecting the image on to some geometry. Most of it is just planes, spheres, cylinders, etc...
Except for General Old Iron, him I model very very loosely starting from his left foot up. Not sure why I started there I just did...Built him up so that the Geo covered him in the image completely. Then I made a simple rig for him that would let me move his left leg, right arm, and head, which were the parts I animated. Bound it to the geo and animated it.
Then I did a simple move on the camera and rendered it in 3 parts. Foreground, water, and background. Then I composited it in After Effects and added in all of the extra effects and did the sound design.
There are a few issues that I tried to cover up. I didn't really think of his out fit in the way it would really work. So I have an extra piece of "cloth" geo in the front to cover up some parts which should have been in the back if it was a real outfit. The alignment is off a bit but hopefully, it's not too noticeable...
