This is one of the slowest 1.8L car I've driven. You have to floor this car constantly to get a decent pickup. In comparison, the new Civic is a much faster car.

I have one, 1.8L N.A 2012 w/ 76k miles on it. Manual trans and mine is flexfuel. I really like the car! Only use ethanol amd the performance is quite nice!

I have a 2014 cruze with the 1.4l turbo and I have had it up to 95 mph but had to back off because the steering is so touchy in these cars that it feels like you are one slip away from losing traction and crashing. I also have a 2020 chevy equinox with the 1.5l turbo and had it up to 90 mph and it handles better than the cruze. but I do like the cruze as it is very fun to drive around!

Pojeździłem dwoma Cruzami - sedan 2.0 d 125 KM, oraz kombi 2.0 D o mocy 163 KM (poliftowy). Przyzwoity wóz za małe pieniądze, wiele elementów przejęte żywcem z Astry IV (np. manetki) . O części mechaniczne bym się nie martwił - typowe rozwiązania GM, ale o blacharskie już bardziej. No i auto robi sie powoli trudno sprzedawalne, a szkoda.

Nice looking car, but only with 2.0 diesel engine, otherwise spends alot and there's no enough power. That's why now you can buy it for a few thousands with low mileage!
