This video shows how you can find the unknown height of a cylinder if you are given the radius and the volume of the cylinder. The video shows how to plug the given values into the equation and use Algebra to isolate for the variable that you are looking for, in this case (h) or the height.

Steps of my problem:

- 250 ft^3 is the volume
- Diameter is 8 ft
- Radius is 4 ft

I took the formula for volume (V=πR^2) and replaced the V with my given volume, 250 ft. Then I plugged in Pi and the radius, 250=(3.14)x(4)^2h. Then I simplified it to get 250=(3.14)x(16)h and then simplified it once more to get 250=50.24h. I then i divided the volume (250) by 50.24 as well as 50.24h by 50.24, to be left with the variable of h (height). I got the final answer of 4.9761146497 and I simplified that to 4.97 ft. for height. If you wanna be _really_ specific, you can also round up to 5.
