My personal experience with dating a doctor is that showing interest in medical stuff can help a lot. My partner is still in med school so it might be a student thing but he always appreciates me asking about interesting things he learned. It's nice to be able to share your passion with someone.

it's very rare for a person to actually explain an idea like this doctor do. He is very intelligent and talented. Imagine having a conversation with him about pretty much everything and getting answers that actually makes sense

Love that you addressed the difficultiesof having a relationship with a doctor. Funnily enough I'm also an artist/pharmacist, engaged to a doctor and boy is it challenging. If there is anything that can test your patience, it's that. Especially since most doctors aren't people-oriented like you, but very logical and rational, which can be a challenge for a more emotional partner. It sometimes feels like they unintentionally bury their emotional side because of all the horrors they see every day - from patients neglecting their bodies to the point of decay, to bringing the news of death to relatives.

Misophonia is the WORST - every time I’m studying in a uni library and someone pulls out food, I have to race to plug in some music or remove myself from the room before I start crying in anger. It’s an anger I feel in my bones. But you can’t ask a stranger to chew with their mouth closed/breathe quieter!
