Their statements about him seem odd. Doesn't seem like something you would say after your best friend dies. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong. However, the truth always comes out eventually.

How did he fall, I mean from where? A balcony? A rooftop? I have seen a few videos of these kids partying during their spring break, they are so wild and completely disregard all safety rules and precaustions!

I saw a picture of that ledge. The hotel should be sued and bankrupt. Why have a 2 foot wall with bushes in front and behind when there is a 20 foot drop?

An all inclusive hotel or any hotel for that matter should NEVER have an area where it’s guests can leisurely walk that is of a height that can cause serious damage or death without secure barriers, high enough for people not to fall over and thin enough for people not to sit on. I know traveling is at your own risk and you are responsible for your behavior at all times but guests are not familiar with the property and many are young adults who have never experienced this kind of freedom and when herd mentality kicks in it is up to the hotels that cater to this population to keep them as safe as possible—not only as a social service/duty but to ensure they have returning customers that will recommend the hotel to others.

I've been to Mexico several times for spring break and other occasions to party. I never died.
