I'm not a plumber but from research I've done, it's supposed to have a trap (to keep sewer fumes out of home) and riser for washing machine should be no shorter than 30", for 2" pipe.

That doesn't look right.
Wheres the P trap?
Also, many other machines exert more flow tham this.

Don’t use pvc cause from the heat it may bend.
