Thanks, I live in the African savannah. It's about 1300m above sea level. It's called the cradle of humankind. It's hot in the day, and temperature drops at night well below 19°c. Your advice helped. There are no clouds here in winter. We get frost

This makes lives in winters harder as for me, I'm the most vulnerable to catch cold when I'm asleep and what sucks is that I can't really ensure that I'm covering every part of my body with the blanket and not moving too much

We live 6000 feet above sea level in the high desert. It's hot when we go to bed and then it cools way down, sometimes to freezing. Our room is very hot due to the way our casita absorbs heat and it takes until 4 or 5 a.m. to cool down. Fans irritate me and overhead fans cause me to tense up in the wee hours of the morning so I wake up. My core heats up to its max around 4 a.m. and I often wake up. I am wondering about trying to wear wool to sleep in and see if that regulates better. We slept sandwiched in wool for years but could not bring those items with us when we came to this area. It is not possible to purchase just now although it will be high on our list when winter comes.
