Proof Big Cat caught on film Victoria Australia clip 1

I came across this huge jet black cat with a long tail while walking through the Victorian bush. I was standing at this water course after making my way through thick bush when some movement caught my eye across from me. I first thought it was a Labrador dog because of its size. To my amazement I realised I was looking at a huge black cat but not your usual feral cat which I have seen plenty of. This was very different from anything I have seen before. I quickly whipped out my iPhone and filmed it as best I could. This day was very windy and I think that helped muffle any sound I made as I walked through the bush.
I couldn't move forward because of the water but managed to change position and get another quick shot of it as it made its way along the tree line.

My father and grand father saw one in the late 60s at limeburners Creek (nsw). They were walking back to the car after shooting rabbits. The Panther lept off the side embankment of a cutting. Touched down in the middle of the gravel road infront of them. Then lept up the other side 3 leaps gone. Dad says "that looked like a panther". Grandad replies that would explain the wallaby carcasses in the trees.
Grand pa was a good bushman. I did some hunting with him as a kid. Not enough unfortunately.

I saw one jan 1st this year (2021) at southern end of brisbane ranges in Vic. It's hard to see on video the scale of the animal you're looking at, but in real life you can tell instantly that it's not possible for it to be a feral cat as they simply don't grow that large. The movement, shape, and slick black coat also rule out any other animal.

My mate saw one having a drink at a river here in Victoria. He was just trapping some yabbies and it was just standing there having a nice big drink. About 40-50m away. But he didn’t have his phone on him

This is no overgrown feral cat!
The size of the cat relative to distance and the width of the trunk of that first tree that the cat emerged from behind is testimony to that fact.

Absolutely amazing footage. No way a feral cat would grow that big.

In my 20s went camping with boyfriend an his mate at Paradise Valley in Vic highland, we were all laying down on our side getting tired, and all at same time heard and felt something running then quite then thump type sound, right near the fence area. We heard enough and saw enough to freak, got in the car after what felt like forever cause the owner was shitting bricks with fright, even when safe inside still couldn't start car when he did lights came on and we saw it, drove back to other campers but was so scared wasn't till nearly noon did we feel safe to leave car, hours later went back to our big tent and it was mangled and our food stash was everywhere and half chewed and stomped into the dirt. There's more but giving me chills reliving.

They are out there. This is real . Humans not at risk from these incredible creatures. If you know then you know.

Jet black, hence not a melanistic leopard, which have their spots visible under the dark colouring. Very high rump and very long and thick tail. Conclusion? It's a thylacoleo.

Australia has many stray cats but this one is probably a puma escaped from a zoo

Its not clear footage but still good enough to prove that this is a big cat in the video. Something the size of a leopard or a puma. At that distance you can see that it is very big and has the long cat like tail and cat like movement!
