I used a scuff pad, Duplicolor adhesive promoter and made sure it was coated well. Then painted it. I haven't had any scratches and the paint doesn't come off. I tried scratching my plastic pieces. Nothing.

Bro I did the same thing to 09 Accord and I put about 7 coats on mine and it looks about the same as yours. I vinyl wrapped some of the panels that were scratched up and the vinyl wrap seems to do much better.
