Painted chrome bumper UPDATE (10 months later)

This is an Update on the paint job I've made on my Ford F150 chrome bumpers.
I have used Bedliner coating which didn,t require the use of a primer coat underneath. However, after 10 month and a winter later The bumper are starting to ship.
So I should have ignore the instruction on the bedliner coating cane and use a good metal primer anyway.

I'm thinking about painting my running boards from the videos and comments it seems the best way to go about it is to strip past the chrome and use primer before painting with the bed liner paint

How are your steps holding up? Will you make a video on the follow up of the bed liner on the side steps?
