You’re missing one key point. All the self driving taxi on the road now is NOT run by Ai. It’s computer code and it can only operate in a GEO-FENCED area. It can NOT go outside of a non mapped grid.

No jeremy. Waymo has premapped car routes in a few parts of a few cities that you can take a driverless car. That's the fact. Waymo is ahead of tesla is not a fact. That is your opinion based on the prementioned fact. If your only criteria is who is doing driverless cars TODAY and thats your reasoning why waymo is "ahead" then sure. You could also then say that the cars on the rails in the disney world ride are ahead of gas cars out on the road. Bc the disneyworld cars can be driven by 10 year olds and not 1 car accident has ever happened. Thats a FACT. So they are ahead right?

Tesla could EASILY premap an area all the places waymo currenly exists and drive robotaxis there and show the data that would get them approved to operate like waymo. They dont because they are not trying to compete with waymo. they are playing their own game called Full self driving everywhere. Lets take a waymo car and a tesla car an put them in 100 places randomly in the USA and watch them drive. Then you can tell me that they are ahead and its a Fact.

4:00 It is funny that the guy makes fun of EU trying to regulate as if that was a bad thing, when EU antitrust laws and constant checks is the only reason why companies like Apple, Google, Meta, etc have ANY accountability with respect to data handling, anti competitive practices, etc.
The EU regulation is so bad, until they make it so you have a right to repair your products, each company does not come with a slightly different charging cable that you have to buy from them new for $400, etc.
Thanks to the regulation of the EU, we have laws that mandate to disclose the use of AI for things like books, art, etc.
If we waited for the US government to do something about it, we would d*e of old age before the first significant law were passed.

I have a prediction: With self driving cars, there will always be a dilemma that needs to be solved by humans first: If a car detects that a crash is unavoidable, but reducing the risk of everyone else would increase the risk of the car occupants, what should the car do? The car detects that you are going to run over a pedestrian, but turning would make you impact against the wall and that could be fatal. What should the car do?
In the US, we will have the wild west, in which if you pay the special new package with the cool name, the car will choose you because thanks to its "faster computations" it always calculates that you are the one who should be saved.
The EU is the international body that is going to set a law in which the people with the best car are not automatically chosen to live.

I’m starting to get FOMO on PLTR. My positions are really small right now as I’m just starting out, but I had $1, 000 to invest and I was bouncing between PYPL and PLTR. I got PYPL at $75 and was going to wait a bit on PLTR thinking it would hover in the $30-40 range and I could get some later, but I’m worried that I might be missing the boat.
