I’m so happy that James Gunn seems to know that in order to build a cinematic universe, you have to make films that stand on their own feet first. If he included a bunch of Justice League references in this film to set up the future, yeah it would be cool, but would be harmful long term since the audience would be expecting Justice League next, and what made the MCU work, was sparing time between films to really let the universe grow naturally. TLDR, I trust James Gunn with a film like I would trust him raising my first newborn if they existed.

With Superman being my favourite superhero, I have a feeling that this movie is going to blow up exponentially. I REALLY want it to. I just want to see Superman be a guy that's just trying to do the right thing.
