Great advice. Another option if you have a Samsung phone is to install the Clipboard edge panel. A simple swipe and tap will also clear your clipboard.

Very nice tip! A good habit along these same lines is to avoid altogether using “copy-paste” sensitive information. Passcodes are short enough to memorize long enough (less than 7 seconds) after viewing them on Notes or other apps.

If you want to avoid using the clipboard entirely but want to copy long passwords and similar difficult to remember information use the smart select feature and pin it. Then you can go to the app you need that information for and sinply delete it after you use it.

Why is it that we have to do this with Samsung phone (and maybe other Androids) ?? I don't recall having to change any security features on apple devices (at least not this often). I feel like every other week I see a "change this immediately" on your android device kind of video

why don't they implement a scheduled clear for the clip board?

How i do this, i added a shortcut to the homescreen side swipe that gains access to the clip. I can then see if there is anything in clipboar, and clear from there.
