Assembling Modular Mixing Templates with SWS (Rapid-Fire REAPER Tutorials Ep98)

Hey folks!
While I was away on vacation, a bunch of really good questions came through from y'all (keep them coming!) and I thought to start off the new year by answering all the really good ones.

Today I wanna show you why I think Track Templates may be a much superior way of setting up your Mixing Sessions than a Project Template!

Thanks for demystifying editing reaper files to rid ourselves of arbitrary limitations. I would have seen the limit of 10 and tried to find a creative way of making it work. You, along with others in this wonderful community, are helping me to ignore the acceptance of limitations and trust that there's a way to do what we think is needed in our music making process.

I have been working on mapping a controller to Reaper with the goal of being more hands-on in producing and mixing. It's tedious but I'm liking my progress. I've stayed away from custom actions so far but will soon be reaching out for some creative input of how to implement some useful actions and maybe even iron out any wrinkles in the setup I don't notice myself.

You have my support in every non monetary way I can give, and when I can afford, you should be expecting a coffee as well.

Cheers

Happy & Beautiful New Year.
As usual, very useful video, as I'm already working on my template for mixing and composing. Didn't know SWS has something like this :)

This is getting close to something that I've wanted to do for ages. SSD Drums have proprietary File names for MIDI that prevent them from being used in any other samplers. I've seen how you just have to change the file name to get them to play in any other editor, but.. Is there any way to do this with a bulk action, instead of renaming each file individually??

Unfortunately I find no reasonable way to save notes on track templates. (Items with text are not a good option)
...good to hear from you again!
