How many days off do you have per year in the US? In Sweden, where I live, according to law, everybody has the right to get 25 days paid vacation days per year, but since employers and unions have treaties, they can extend the number of days that are prescribed by the law, so many will have a bit more. A bit problematic are the long summer holidays in school that also lead to that half of the country's workforce is pretty much away from work which leads to a lack of both doctors and nurses over the summer weeks, so you do not want to get sick during that period and actually, who wants to get sick anytime.
Romance? Well, it is definitely not my genre, because most of the romance novels (or movies) that I've touched or seen do not depicture relationships in a realistic way, Probably your romance is my thrillers that I need to pick up from time to time.
BookTok? Should we booktubers be on booktok as well or is it true what I have heard that it is pretty much dominated by just romance (Colleen Hoover all over the place) and fantasy and the literary fiction corner is small.
