Matthew Wright hears from guests after the ICF said Israel’s presence in Palestinian territory is 'unlawful' and should be 'ended as rapidly as possible'.

First, Matthew and Human Rights Watch's Yasmine Ahmed discuss the future of UK-Israeli relations after this ruling.

Ahmed says: "The UK needs to be using every leverage that it has against Israel to stop this.

"This will make it harder for David Lammy and Keir Starmer not to do anything, and it makes it even more hollow in their words of a two-state solution, and a peaceful settlement of the dispute, if they do nothing now."

Matthew also speaks to former spokesman for NATO, Mark Laity, who doesn't expect to see much change 'immediately' following this. However, he predicts it will be much harder now to 'ignore the importance of a two-state solution'.

The US and UK etc keep going on about "rule based system". Well how can they still say that when this ruling proves those rules are being blatantly broken?

My father was a young British soldier sent to palestine in 1947, my family still have all his army papers stamped Palestine. He never forget what he says was so unjust, Palestinians forced, by gunpoint, out of their homes, atrocities committed.

Mark Laity is so wrong on what the Palestinians were offered. They were never offered what amounts to a State. Even Rabin acknowledged in the Knesset that they were offered less than state. Mark Regev recently said that too. The point is Palestinians should be given what is their right - self determination on the 67 line. Simple, control over their water, airspace etc.

It's hard to discus this when YouTube so heavily employs political censorship.

Mister Laity still tells the Palestinians they should have accepted less than their legal right. It's a ridiculous argument.

So when are you reinstating Sangita? Or at least apologising publicly, LBC?

Does South Africa has the right to exist? Yes.
Does apartheid South Africa has right to exist? No.
There is no such things as the issue is complex, or there is context etc. its a No. You cannot subject people, their children and future generation to a brutal apartheid rule.
Does the state of israel has the right to exist

Everyone on lbc that tried to cover or minimize Israeli war crimes should be held to account

Bill Clinton confesses in his auto Biography that the deal Palestinians got couldn't be called a deal and while Arafat reluctantly agreed to it eventually, the newly elected government under Netanyahu, came in to power towards the end and he basically did what he does best, to pick the deal apart find a weak point and exploit it to get out of the deal. all the while laying the blame on the Palestinians, there is a Video of him that has gone viral confessing/Bragging about it.

The deal required Palestinians to not have Military facilities and just police stations. When Netanyahu came in to power he fooled the Americans in to giving him the final say on what is and isn't a Military facility, and he exploited that and I quote him "the whole west bank is a military facility" and he never signed the deal because of it.

I don't know why these Brits don't take 5 mins in to researching this, its all there for anyone to see for them self.

It might not make immediate difference but the difference is the whole world is talking about the injustice Palestinians have suffered. Just 1 year ago no one dared criticise Israel. It is happening slowly and gradually now that the whole world is aware of the plight of Palestinians.
