Some say it’s haunted, and there have even been reports of the lady of the lake dragging people into the water. Why have hundreds of people met their end at Lake Lanier? All the money that that town makes from tourism should go to the descendants of that town. It shouldn't be that hard to find the families since it wasn't that long ago. I stay in Stone Mountain about an hour out from Lake Lanier and let me tell you, I whole heartedly believe that this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this lake. After finding out about the massacre/flooding and knowing that Forsyth is still one of the most racist counties in GA (go watch the oprah winfrey interview in forsyth for a glimpse), im certain there are countless other incidents we may never uncover about this lake.

I was doing some amazon deliveries earlier this year around 4-5am and the entire time I was in the area I had one of the most eerie vibes ive ever had in my life. The house I delivered to was on this long extremely dark ass road and when zi got out of the car I swear it was dead quite like some horror movie shit. I pretty much ran back to the car and drove off pretty quick and when I saw and old ass sign with Lake lanier on it, it all made sense to me. Great video by this gentleman I swear ill never go back anywhere near this place.

My husband and I had a staycation last year and went to Lake Lanier. We both are aware of the history of this place and, before we went, we decided we would not go into the water on the beach. When we got to one of the beach parts of Lake Lanier we walked along the sand and decided to sit on reclining beach chairs. It was a forecasted day with a gray sky. When we were relaxing there I did see people in the water. I thought about the videos I have seen on Lake Lanier. I remember seeing people of differing nationalities including for lack of a better term "black" people dancing on party boats and then it is almost as if some force took a limb and took their feet from out under them, the "dancers" and "partyers" then pulled them into the water. I'd like to think as a woman of faith and I even show this (I was wearing a modest swimwear outfit and this is honestly how I dress regardless of where I am), that the heavenly father does send signs or messages. While we were sitting there a long bolt of lightning struck the water. The people that were in the water screamed and swam or doggy paddled whatever they could do, to get out of the water as fast as they could. I take that as a sign of the heavenly father stating "Do not even think about going in that water" he knows what spirits are in there, as he has allowed them to have principality over that area and once you're warned it's on the person, have to pay attention to the signs.

Lake Lanier is highly energetic. I live near there and go time to time. I always alwaaayyyssss give an offering and acknowledge before my children and I get in there. I only go to the shore lines… intuition tells me never said the lake but ppl still do. If you’re highly sensitive to spirit you will know without having to know…
