Loving the white color this year. It's SUPER CLEAN

Couple notes:
- These are engineering samples don't have the new Microsoft Copilot key on the keyboard. It will be on the retail units
- The Legion Pro 7i has a 100% DCI-P3 panel instead of 100% sRGB

I remember searching for a gaming laptop going into college in 2020 and stumbling upon Dave's video on the Legion 5. Still have it today, and it's wild to see the growth of both the tech and the channel over the years!

I'm so glad they have realised not all gamers want their laptops to look like a Christmas tree vomited all over their computer

The Back part looks so good. With the HDMI port and power port seamlessly going with the vents. I'm not very big fan of the silver chrome but always a big fan of the keyboard and display!

I want to see an expanded version of the 14.5 OLED they did last year.

Excited for their popular Legion 5 lineup, I really hope they’ll continue the 14” variant from last year

Surprised it took them this long to make the O in the legion logo the power on button.

They should have given an ethernet port on the regular 7i as well.

Air containment is a reliable solution in high thermal load environments like data centers to ensure air supplies and returns do not mix, and thus reducing cooling efficiency of the air supply. This solution may not net a huge boost in cooling, but it is a simple and inexpensive method where every little gain helps.

Just today I was looking up white gaming laptops because I liked the G14 but never felt confident in their reliability. Then you uploaded the perfect video so I don’t have to look further. I enjoy the legion builds, and don’t have to worry about all of the G14 holes getting dirty. Thank you!
Also good change on the exhaust.

The Legion line looks so much nicer and more mature and professional than brands like ROG. I’m a professional, people see my computer, I can’t be walking around looking like a 12-year old Fortnite gamer.

Laptops look really good this year. I want to get a new one this year but I have been waiting for the release of thunderbolt 5. I'm hoping that the port allows for more efficient performance of laptops with eGPU's. I have no clue how much better could this be (if any?).

If it's much better, I would be interested to have a more portable laptop with a good CPU and no GPU for my regular work, and then have the option to add the eGPU to the game at home.

So, do you guys think we'll see this type of product? And could it be a significant performance upgrade compared thunderbolt 3/4?

English is not my first language, I hope what I wrote makes sense 😅

Do you use an atem mini to switch between overhead and a-roll in real time, or do you do it in post?
