Milwaukee M12 FUEL Stubby 2554 Review vs Snap-On CT9010 [12V vs 18V]

This is not the first time we've pitted the Snap-On Mid-Torque against a Milwaukee compact impact wrench. However, this is the first time that we've put the Milwaukee 2554 3/8" M12 Stubby impact against the Snap-On CT9010 Brushless Impact Wrench. There were so many complainers and whiners after our last comparison, we thought we'd prove the point again.

I have a coworker that's a SnapOn fanboy to the point of screaming and throwing a fit ! I cant wait to show him the facts tonight at work. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication bringing facts to us.

Given the price and size of the Snap-On, there's simply no excuse for how poorly it performs. Maybe it would have been a decent option if it was released 10-15 years ago, but not in today's market.

This is exactly why I sold all of my snap on 18v and 14.4v tools and went with milwaukee years ago. Got tired of sending my tools out and paying 100s to have them rebuilt. Milwaukee all the way now

Snap on makes great wrenches and sockets and ratchets. They just don't have it when it comes to electric stuff. I'm sure this video is going to set the record straight. Much appreciated!

Why would someone pay $800 for an impact wrench no matter the brand?!? That's insane! There is way to many better options for cheaper. This video is great evidence of that.

Thank you for all your hard work making these videos. After I saw your review of the stubby last time I went and got me one and I do love it this thing. Just wanted to let you know that some of us actually appreciate all you to inform the rest of us. God bless

I’ve got the Milwaukee stubby impact that I use every day at work. It’s a MONSTER for how small it is. I’ve used it to pull Hemi head bolts off on 100k mile Ram trucks.

I was a mechanic for 28 years in a car dealer and I too had every snap on tool they 4 years ago my 3/8 snap on 14.4v impact went bad and it was only 13 months old. So I had to send in for repair and pay out of a couple months later my battery wouldn't charge anymore and the snap on dealer said I would have to buy a new I got so pissed off that I went out to home Depot and bought a 3/8 impact 18v.
Customer 5-year warranty on the tool and 3 years on the battery. Oh and half the price, , . Oh and more powerful! F*** snap on!

I have the M12 in 3/8 drive and I love it. The main point with regard to user comfort is not just the handle form but the perfect angle which is easier on the hand and a natural position for the wrist.

I have been a tech for 22 years and 6 months ago I replaced all my snap on cordless tools. Not only are Milwaukee tools a lot stronger but the warranty is much longer and 1/3 the price. Great video.

I have the M12 stubby in 1/2” drive (model 2555). I use it all the time.

All I can say is, so many people underestimate the Milwaukee stubby impacts. They perform amazingly for their size. I also have the 1/4” drive. For small fasteners, it’s awesome.

I can say being a Technician I have had the snap-on and Milwaukee tools and the Milwaukees always seem to shine over the snap-on! I have 1/4 snap-on little impact that has nothing but problems with the rocker switch never have had much problems with the Milwaukee stuff other than the frictions ring falling off after two hard year or use !

Wow Snap On is over priced junk. Should've put on a 6ah battery on the Milwaukee.

Being in the Automotive industry for over 15 years, I remember buying a 1/2 impact for $700 10 years ago. Let me point out snap on impacts are dated, there hasn't been much innovation in the past 10 years, that's why so many companies have caught up and left them in the dust. They have relied on their tool and name brand to be able to charge insane prices for their electric tools

I personally prefer my stubby to be 3/8 drive, if I want 1/2 then I grab either my mid torque or high torque depending on the job.

Been watching these videos for 2-3 weeks now and your reviews just gave me this itch to buy the m18 3/8 mid torque and this is one of the best decisions I’ve made regarding tools so far thanks for the work!!

I’ve been using my 3/8s Milwaukee stubby for about almost two years and it never fails to impress me

Great review, the 18v snap-on is way over priced. The 14.4v tools aren't terrible but still cost more than competition.

As I have stated in another comment on a different video. I am kind of a snap-on fan boy. I really enjoy their hand tools, especially their wrenches, ratchets, and sockets. I also really like my snap-on classic toolbox as well. However I couldn't recommend anybody buying snap-on power tools, cordless or pneumatic. Granted the snap-on air hammer is the only pneumatic tool I can warrant that will out perform others but it's also a $500 air hammer. I love my IR's for pneumatic tools and Milwaukee has done incredible things in regards to cordless tools.
