Seems like people must not believe that Milwaukee actually makes high end tools...They have the best 12 volt lineup on the market !!!

I don't work as a mechanic anymore, but these stubbies almost make me wish I did. I'd have a few M12 batteries sitting in a charge rotation on my box and I wouldn't touch an air hose all day.

It's really impressive that they can handle lug nuts, but I think where they really shine is in the front wheel wells and inside the engine compartment where even a normal 3/8" pneumatic impact may not fit. It's nice that they can handle crazy universal socket setups, but with these tools I think you'll wind up needing those universals less than with any other gun.

1:40 opposite when adding the adapter and socket you increase mass increasing performance most of the time, not including swivel/universals they rob torque

I ordered one of these the other day for karting and general stuff on car. I already have a mains operated for crank bolts. I didn't watch any reviews or nothing it was an impulse buy. Just watched this can't wait for it to arrive !

Get it, or don't. Up to the viewers. I love my 3/8" stubby so far. Pre-ordered and got it on 9/14. Using it on cars and whatnot. It's a great tool. Does the majority of my DIY vehicle maintenance needs over the M18 mid torque impact without the size and heft.

I use my M18 1/2" mid torque for work daily and I do notice a loss in torque when using extentions. However, I only remember one time where i couldn't get a lug nut to budge so I took off the 3" extension and it came right off no problem.

I think it also has a lot to do with the material and build of the tool. Similar concept to torque sticks.

Great video!!! By the way adding extensions you lose torque. 40 yrs experience. Was glad you torqued that nut then took off w 2.0 battery!!! I ordered one last night.

I bought one of these today. You sold me when you showed that it could bust lug nuts even with the small battery!

Thanks for the assurance that it won't matter to use a longer extension. great content.

Good video Vince Titan makes a low profile adapter set the part number is 30936 and they are impact approved they should work perfect for these stubby impacts

I use the other type of universal joints that are ball types and I do have sockets that have the universal ball joints incorporated with the sockets

I hate to admit it, but that is a great tool. Milwaukee might have hit a home run with the stubby.

Before you know I will be working on a car parked in San Diego California from the comfort of my front yard in Georgia.

Would like to see a torque test with and without adapters or extensions to see how much of a difference it really makes.
