"Crazed creature"? Sounds pretty harsh in reference to a wild animal. Whatever happened to journalism?

How's the pet parent and her dog? And yes, the bond and the love for our furry family members is real. The journalist mad it sound like it was funny or something.

No natural predators in urban areas, a big factor in their population bloom . Even though they are losing habitats running wild without any threats, expect more missing pets unfortunately 😢 We’re seeing more Coyotes during the daytime too.

I bought an old house that is on a border between natural mountain land and human territory. In spite of railroad tracks and a highway nearby, we are blessed to see all kinds of wildlife, including coyotes, foxes, bobcats, a mountain lion, and black bears. I've always rescued, fostered, and adopted all kinds of dogs, but I will never take a small dog into this home. It shouldn't take a genius to recognize that, in some areas, little dogs, especially energetic, vocal ones, are just bait.

Coyotes are in the suburbs because of all the habitat loss. All these forests are being turned into parking lots and apartments.

there's a lot of wilderness in the Seattle metro area, so wild animals will move around these areas.

Great video of a fence and a rock. LOL Coyotes thrive in the city. Plenty of cats, small dogs, garbage, pet food left out, etc to eat. Keep your small pets in and be prepared to defend and protect what is yours.

I saw 3 of them in Leshi 3 weeks ago at 7:30 am... approaching other dogs being walked... they did looked confused, and lost. I'm thinking a group of them got into the city hunting cats and rats, and are now vagabonding it.. They did look healthy like the've been eating more than the coyotes I've seen in the mountains

As commenter below alludes to - not a "crazed" creature. Wildlife. And, where too many of us humans have displaced other living beings - our fate. Yet, I would surely be compelled as this woman was. Very courageous, the latter.

All those bunnies that poped up from covid are gone now. I wonder why

Coyotes are out there just like racoons, possoms and skiunks. Cities provide food ( garbage, mice, rats, cats, small dogs, etc).

I think when farms used to surround a city...the farmers wouldn't put up with coyotes taking their chikens etc and would just shoot them...the coyotes learned to stay away from humans...now its suburbia surrounding the city and the farmers are gone and the coyotes no longer fear humans....unfortunately, anything small including humans, needs to be careful.
