I'm laughing my butt off at how they say ipfire avoids any attack through DDoS and the internet....you CANT avoid a DDoS you can simply set up multiple filters and pray they friggin work and you have the bandwidth to compensate for whats coming at you otherwise your better off unplugging your modem for a few hours that way your ISP is forced to filter the data not you.

Don’t want to run on the parade, but many of these products only provide the solutions you mention if you subscribe to their service. For instance, untangled only does limited virus protection and does not include intrusion detection unless you subscribe for 50 bucks a year.
