The Bacteria are a type of species of Hay Bacilles taking over security cameras during ASYNC's recording tests. The voices the Bacteria emits are recordings, which go back to the "Don't Move" sign scratched on the wall. You can also see how stiff the Bacteria moves, like a person on crutches.

Note: Bacteria aren't canon to the Backrooms, since Level 0 is entirely devoid of life, amd Bacteria are pretty much an accidental invention owned by ASYNC.

Great video and explanation! Was interesting to see more facts regarding this entity. I am more of a Wikidot fan, but it's fun to hear about other lore. Though saying that, with how expansive the Backrooms is, I would not be surprised if one such entity can be found there!

I've heard if you don't move, it will not harm you, it is blind and chases movement. If you be still, it will walk up to you because it is curious of what you are, don't know if this is true but that's what I heard.

This is what a bacteria really is, A bacteria is a hay becilies :I can't spell it right: infected camera in motion detected. the camera only turns on with motion that's why the bacteria in the first Backrooms video says don't move because it is triggered when it moves, because of the camera. That's why it looks like a camera fungi monster. Some people mistake it for it having a siren as its head, but it's just a tripod camera
