I grew up with technology SO slow and shitty that I had to wait a few seconds after pressing the button to make sure the camera was ACTUALLY recording with a red light dot 🚨 showing on the camera.

You know what? I call bullshit. The millenial pause is supposedly a carryover habit from when electronics took longer to start recording. Guess what? I've got a fucking flagship phone from 2022 - start talking immediately after pressing rec and you know what? It cuts off like half a fucking second!

because it is NOT instant and all digital cameras lie to you. if you start speaking as soon as you press the button you will be cut off in most cases. there is no guarantee, so why not wait for the timer to hit 1 second. this shit is just idiotic.
