Playing the HBS battletech game, I dropped most of the weapons from my blackjack to save on heat, and it was still the hottest running mech I had. One large laser and two ac/5's are apparently enough to cook a mech warrior alive.

I took a rifleman into a narrative game. Lasted 3 missions and came in clutch for alot of objectives. Sadly due to confusion on the comms I went down in a massive ammo fireball after taking a pirate swordsman down in its own ammo fireball

I once used a Blackjack in a rear-guard action against a Regent and a Mad Cat MkII. Thanks to the mad whims of the dice gods, the Blackjack not only survived, but got an engine hit on one and a gyro hit on the other (he would've been toast the next round, but we called the game early). It truly was the okayest Mech I've ever fielded.

I love the blackjack :-) it's actually quite good for its size...Nice long range pecks followed by quite a hard up close punch with its medium lasers...just hope they don't hit that ac2 ammo or your dead
