Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today, we’re going through two east styles of military buns. One is super quick, easy, and secure for basic training. The other takes a little more time but looks great for those of us with super long hair. I hope you can apply these techniques and try them out before you ship!

You have no idea how much I appreciate this. As a girl with long hair that doesn't know how to do anything other than a pony tail, this helps enormously. The mirror, the angle, the explanation = top notch. Thank you.

I just realised I’ve been doing military buns nearly every day since grade four because they’re quick, neat, and easy so I’d literally go to school with my hair out and then do either of these just before school started. Maybe they weren’t quite as neat as this, but they were similar.

I'm an air cadet and I needed to practice doing my hair for when my mom isn't around because she helps me, thanks for this video

My hair is extremely curly and thin, and this video helped me so much. Everytime I would put it in a bun, it turned into a mountain that flopped over. But your tips helped me get it even and flat !

Personally am not in the military, I just needed a way to control my hair because it is 2 ft long. But I love that you had a mirror behind you so we could see what you're doing whenever you are flicking it back or whatever so that was really nice thank you

I just joined the Army National Guard and your video popped up as I started searching for ways to prepare for Basic. Thank you so much for the in depth and easy to follow tutorial.

Was in basic in 1978! Had the same hair issues. Since my hair was cut in various lengths (layered cuts were popular back then), the shorter hairs would pop out of the bun and get me in trouble. I found hair nets at the commissary and would double a net over just the bun and pin it down. Made it through obstacle course and field exercises with hair in place. I used this trick throughout my 10 years and it worked like a charm.

I'm not in the army but I'm a research intern and tomorrow is my first day working in the lab on my own and everyone reminded me to really tie my hair back!
Thank you for the video, especially since my hair is the length of yours. I have confidence I won't set my hair on fire tomorrow :)

It makes me feel better to see how long your hair is! My hair is the same length as yours and I was always so worried! My hair falls out of EVERYTHING 😅 Thank you for making this video! Bless you on the rest of your service ❤️

Omg girl putting a hair tie around the second “loop/section” is the bun is such a nice trick. I’ve been trying to find a way to keep my hair from falling out for when I do PT and that’s so simple but effective! Leaving for basic in 7 days thank you!

This was a life saver! I have just started Police training and I have long thick hair, so every tutorial I've found before this just didn't keep my hair tight and would fall out. Thanks Abby!

I managed to get my hair to once a week washes. I don’t even need dry shampoo anymore. Used to wash daily, took a long time to get it to a week but it’s growing like a weed and MUCH healthier now.

i’ve been doing the same hair bun style for 4 years for work but my hair is the longest it’s ever been and it’s been falling out of the bun style, the first bun is the only one i’ve found that’s tight without bobby pins! you’re a life saver.

Thank you so much, This was so very helpful I'm a freshman in high school and I'm in AFJROTC and I've never really put my hair in buns so I didn't know how to make it neat and nice, I have my Very first Drill Comp tomorrow and I needed to know this. Once again thank you so very much for taking the time out of your busy life to make this video to help people such as myself your an amazing person and thank you for your service.

I know this was posted seven months ago but I wanted to thank you because I really didn't know how to put my hair in a bun and I just got into a police academy where you could become a police, firefighter, detective, military Marine and stuff like that but in the school all girls must have their hairs in a bun and I'm really grateful that you posted this because because I wouldn't had known to put my hair in a bun without you plus I'ma start training soon
