While having my engine on the stand I had to remove the damper in order to replace the front main seal, I didn’t have the proper puller so I tapped the damper using a wooden block and a rubber mallet and then I was able to pull some more by hand and get it off. Do you think I’ve damaged the thrust bearings? the endplay is in spec but the engine has been sitting for a long time.
