This completely fooled Berdych. In his mind, he was never expecting Fed to play that shot at that part of the court. This is a great example of if you read your opponent well and identify their weaknesses, you don’t have to play a great shot to win the point.

Its unbelievable how many people think this is not a great shot 😂
They don’t understand that the intent is to fake a slice down the line and with the height of the ball and the swing of the racket it is basically impossible to read that it is a drop shot before it lands. That’s why Berdych doesnt move
