That PSA 6 1960 Mantle makes me wonder if it would be smart to resubmit cards with similar borders that were graded "OC" .

Very nice submission. Love that 66 Mantle... but am I the only one that gets ticked off at PSA for putting it in a slab meant for larger cards? Why do they do that sometimes?
Update: lol.. wrote this comment before getting to your 1960 Mantle where you mentioned about the fact that they put it in a larger slab. Awesome card!

Hey!

Quick question, I’m new to card collecting and have always wanted the 53 Tops Mantle. There’s two I’m interested in, a PSA AA and a PSA 3. However there’s a big gap in price. I don’t mind the AA but don’t want to lose resell if I have to absolutely sell it later.

Any advice would help!

Smart move sending these in while grading was $9. I don’t think PSA will be lower then $20 anytime in the future. Great return, congrats on the Mantles!

Card stock splitting / corners coming apart is called layering. Nice '61 Mantle. I have that card in an SGC 5.5. My black background is cleaner than yours, but corners are slightly more touched, and there are some random black print dots on his skin here and there. Tough, tough issue.

Waaay generous grading on the 65 Aaron and the 63 Ashburn with that centering - wow. A few years ago I'd expect OC qualifiers and I'd expect 3.5-4 from SGC. Congrats on the Venezuelas - super cool.
