The vendor obviously is pissed because he got caught, scalping card sets. He needs to be fired.

Get 'em, Degen! That's what you call providing a service to the community. You actually handled it better than I would have! You're quickly becoming one of my favorite YouTubers. Keep up the good work!

This is just sad. Lots of people buy cards at Walmart, but seeing this is just disgraceful. Thanks for exposing them man!

A couple of weeks after this was filmed, he was arrested for theft in the middle of Wal-Mart. He had put boxes in the trunk of his car. He made a big scene and the police had to get physical with him.

Just wondering if this guy is still there, and working? I'll be sending you an email as well shortly. I happen to work as a merchandiser for the company that does the stocking for MJ at all the Walmarts, I'm just a normal employee but I would like to help stop these kinds of people giving the rest of us a bad name. Not all of us are here to steal and ruin the hobby. I work my butt off at two stores and I guess I care a little more about this stuff than a lot of my co-workers. What he is doing is against many company policies, not to mention ethical and moral issues, I have access to some higher-level people in the company and would like to try to at least take care of these issues so you can enjoy the hobby you love. I can tell you from doing this stuff too, there is plenty of product for everyone, and maybe with the help of people like you, we can make some changes so everyone gets their fair share, rather than letting all the product go to eBay resellers.

This is the biggest rivalry in sports cards since Sports Card Radio vs Geoff Wilson

This is a lifetime couch athlete that collected cards his whole childhood got his dream job vending ball cards and now takes advantage of it and bogarts all the valuable card sets. The same thing is happening with Walmart and dollar general employees and hot wheel cars. Some are released valuable, you can buy them at Walmart at regular price and go straight home, put it on the internet for way more than you just paid for it. Some of the toy department folks know this, and they go through them before or during, putting them out and grabbing all the collector editions. The purpose for putting out collectors at the same time and mixed in with everything is the thrill of finding them by luck. Going through them before they are offered to the public is wrong. This dude needs to be fired immediately.

Years ago, My wife told me that her Walmart coworkers would scoop up whichever items were hot commodities each Christmas, and resell them online at 5-10 times the original sticker price. Whether it was a certain doll, toy, game, or whatever, they would buy up multiples of these items, with an employee discount. They always left a few of these items in the store to avoid looking suspicious, but this was one of the main reasons why they could never keep these items in stock for long. They could get most of them before any customers even had a chance.

So basically he marks them as delivered then immediately purchased the whole stock (presumably for resale at a marked up price?)

AYO. He looks EXACTLY like I'd imagine a SCALPER to look like

Thats why you cant get anything any more. Becuase the venders or employees just take all the good stuff before it hits the shelf and then its on Ebay ASAP...

They do it with MtG cards.

Big money there as well. Knew a store owner who knew a vendor and the vendor was swearing up and down "sorry man those box sets sold fast we couldn't get you any" he refunded the shop owner and not one week later that CLOWN using his real name on his ebay was scalping boxes and boxes of those sets online and tge shop owner was mad as hell and immediately contacted Wizards of the Coast before hasbro bought them and they black listed him and the company he was vending for.

Bro I can’t stand this. I worked asset protection at Walmart and looked into an RJH vendor doing the same thing with OPTIC football. Not one blaster, mega, or pack ever touched the shelf for an entire season last year, and once again this year the same thing is happening. The problem is that there inventory isn’t in Walmarts system to check quantity on hand and also the UPC’s and product list’s vary and is something only they have access to each year. I put a lot of time investigating it but there’s only so much we could do. Technically the product isn’t Walmarts until it sells.

Walmart most likely paid for that box and it’s not making to the shelf, that’s straight up theft of product.

This is why Fanatics is taking over distribution which will spell the end of vendors restocking shelves and of distribution companies like MJ Holdings

In the mid 70’s we had a guy in the neighborhood with an ice creme truck that sold lots of cards. He was opening all the packs and resealing them. Nothing but commons for the kids. I knew the guy so. Never cared for him much.

You have the right to record in public area. Don't let them intimidate you.

I am in Delray/Boynton area. I remember him from a few early morning Target runs in 2021. He was well-versed on local restocks all the way down to the Miami area, but was mum and offered no info. He is very omnipresent among different retailers at different times that sell cards. Not surprised here.
