December Mushroom Hunting | UK Foraging

Join Chris and I as we venture out into the Peak District one cold and windy December afternoon in search of moorland mushrooms! We found an abundance of late autumn / early winter mushrooms including lots of hygrocybes and psilocybes before taking shelter in the woodland below.

Lots of the mushrooms featured in this video are toxic and a couple are against the law to pick so please do your own research before harvesting. Please also remember to never eat any wild food, be it plant, fruit or fungi, unless you are 100% certain of its identity and always cross check your resources.

Always do research before taking herbs internally, especially if you are pregnant, have severe allergies or a weakened immune system. Finally, remember to take only what you need from places of abundance, and always leave plenty for the wildlife too.
