I don't get the comments, this is a first to market leader. All the things beind said was said about telsa. You need a company like taiga to push the market and the tech. It's not for me yet, but I'm glad to see a Canadian company push the industry and come out with something that is truly interesting and so close to the experience I'm used to in a sled.

The electric hate comments are so hilarious. Don't worry, you guys can keep your horse and buggy gas sleds as long as you like. The manufacturers don't care what you think if you only ride 2-stroke triples. It means you haven't bought a sled in 20 years... You're not a customer. I'll be purchasing as soon as they can bring it to market. Just like I bought direct injection, SHOT, and turbo sleds. Those technologies were all considered not viable or possible for 2-strokes by dumb commenters. Even if it is a long time from now, that's fine, time flies.

I can really see this being popular for rentals in national parks like yellowstone. They will eventually be electric only. Ski resorts would be a great market as well. A 62 mile trip is a pretty short day on the trail.

I cant wait for the Taiga and the ski-doo electric crossovers to come out 👍

Love it. Interesting they went to 16" tracks just as Skidoo is about to phase them out. Maybe it was just cheaper, but it makes sense for a utility model. Wider tunnel should mean more space for battery. I'm not in the market for a trail sled, and I'm not convinced that Taiga will ever sell retail sleds to consumers, but still cool.

I'll always keep my old gas sleds but next sled i get in a few years is definitely going to be EV.
Imagine when we get Polaris, Bombardier, Yamaha and Artic Cat competing in this EV space 🤯

I already took delivery on mine. No more exhaust pipes for me. Canadian innovation. Now, I just need some snow . . .

Like it or not, this is the future for trail sleds, especially rentals. Going to be a long time before they move in on the true mountain sled market though.

@snowtrax will there be a Nomad in your test fleet this season (hoping for an Taiga Atlas but I guess they won’t release that model yet)? Would love to see how they work over a season in use of other then ski resorts personnel

That simplified drive system straight off the engine is.... Clutch

So what is their target market? Rental shops, guided tours, or something like that?

Taiga made the news in Montreal with their new factory. It seemed a bit strange to be that far from Sherbrooke, but there are still people in Montreal studying two stroke technology and manufacturing things.

I would like to know the weight of this sled?

I can't wait to actually be able to buy a mountain sled that doesn't take gas or oil, doesn't have a transmission, no fumes, and most importantly SILENT.

Too many closed minded people. Try it first

Whats the range of the Taiga riding in a foot or more of fresh heavy wet snow?

I hope its not like the electric pickup industry, where everyone refuses to answer questions regarding towing range.

Come on do we HAVE TO ask? Fine I’ll do it.
1. What’s the range?
2. What’s the weight?
3. What’s the cost?
